Everything about this chapter was okay except One Thing. They actually made Sukuna climb Jacob’s Ladder.

This arc was shortened and major things were both removed and added from the Light Novel. Some im happy about like Assassin guy’s personality, innate trait/disposition , and relationship with Yoo Ahyoung. Makes him more of a character than before.
Dislikes, the way the arc was rushed, Han Sora and Jung Hayan’s relationship especially the former’s ptsd is treated as pure jokes. In the novel Sora is genuinely fucked up to the extent that she literally pisses herself anytime she hears Hayan’s name with her also being treated like Shit by everyone for apparently entering her lab which forces her to become a Dark Mage because that is the only possible way she could survive, then Kiyoung picks her up last second to become both Jung Hayan’s test subject and assistant which is done to be intentionally messed up. And all this plays back in a future arc which I unfortunately can’t say anything because it will be spoilers.
Second dislike would be how they dealt with the whole boyfriend shit and just swept it under the rug. In the novel Kiyoung forces Ahyoung to face the truth of her being used and manipulated by her boyfriend who had multiple relationships with other girls and makes her confront him and end the relationship instead. Here they speed thing up and just make Changryul kill him in an alley.
Anyways, I’m split on this arc but I can’t wait for the next arc. Let’s see what they cook next

There definitely is no guarantee that it would be better, but nothing says it will be worse. Yesterday isn’t a blindfold to deny the future, it is supposed to be a mirror to reflect upon to prepare for Tomorrow.

They were given a chance, they chose to stay. Most of them were not leaving as you could see, unless they would have chosen to leave themselves or at the very least not thought mc was bluffing. Instead they thought he was jokes and he proved he wasn’t.
Given the choice or not, they weren’t coming out. He explicitly says that those who chose to willingly stay in Yesterday. Those who didn’t left immediately once given the opportunity.

Facts, Let them die in their stagnation. If you won’t want to confront the future when given the opportunity and endeavour for Tommorow but instead rely and depend on your past glories and happiness then you can go die with them.
The sin is not choosing to stay in Yesterday but rather choosing to remain in Yesterday when you are given an obvious path into achieving a great Tomorrow.
Today doesn’t exist, it is only going to be Yesterday but you can look back at it while using it as a motivation to see Tomorrow. But when you blind yourself with Yesterday rather than use it as a platform to observe Tomorrow then there is no point of having a Tommorow.
