And God will stop it before it gets to that point. True freedom isn’t achievable without God.

When Jesus talks about the Holy Spirit, He is not referring to Himself. In Scripture, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct Persons, yet still one God in essence.
So Jesus isn’t saying He Himself is the Holy Spirit, He is speaking about another divine Person who shares the same nature as God.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper…”

“Another” (Greek: allos) means another of the same kind but distinct from Me.
This shows the Son is not the Spirit, but the Spirit is just as divine as the Son.

The Trinity isn’t something God became it’s what God is.
