I'm glad they didn't just copy the story word for word from the script of the game because the flash back only works in manga form, in the game you just got told some tidbits of what the brothers going through and you have to connect the dots yourselves

It honestly makes more sense they do the forgetting Basil plot line early because it always felt weird to me how much they got sidetracked in the castle and still saying they're doing all this Sweetheart stuff because we're looking for Basil

Even in context of gameplay the jrpg dream stuff really made the story longer than it should've been, so I'm glad they're acknowledging that they're being sidetracked early for the sake of the manga pacing

It's so funny that it shows the gang using things that isn't lethal as weapon and then we have Omori with a knife

I honestly don't have much faith it will be as good in manga form, the gameplay aspect plays a lot of part in what makes the storytelling interesting, especially with the soundtrack

Nakajima also mentioned Tsubasa is pretty forgetful in early chapters, does he have Alzheimer in his age?

Okay the way they both started to give up about the dream seems like the whole manga was from their perspective hoping Tsubasa is in this dream world, but then the last page suggest the dream world is real

We've only seen Kakeru and Minako, are the other three also in a coma? Is it like a new timeline is created when one of them got out of the loop with them surviving the accident? I doubt it actually took them 4 years after the accident to try to commit suicide out of guilt of the 4 year old accident

The calendar in the background is a nice detail talking about the date

Either she succeed in killing Kenta in the original timeline or Kenta is her kid, I'm still hung up on the fact Kenta had the same hair color as Minako while Kakeru and the mom has black hair

Tsubasa quitting soccer and changing was because of family reason, the way the new dad describe it the affair wasn't simply the sole reason for the family breaking apart

The kid calls him uncle interesting, he did mentioned he didn't have a family in this "place" so maybe this is an affair family he is hiding, maybe the mom of the kid introduced Kakeru as someone who's not his dad to conceal he's having an affair, but he still act as the kid's father figure

That theory aside I noticed something that completely goes against that theory, the kid has the same hair color as Minako while the mom who's holding the kid and Kakeru has black hair so maybe that's her kid, and in this "place" this time maybe there some kind of swap happening

If this ever get an anime adaptation the first episode should be movie length and end with this, is it limbo situation? Are they trying to figure out each other's secret before passing on or something? There's no way it's continuation of the previous timeline because the hospital should be worried this family got into the same accident

Shiori having her memory is totally debunk now, both her and Tsubasa had a moment where their body do things automatically despite thinking it's not right, I wonder if the nature of their amnesia is just developing a different innocent personality to hide their sins and the accident was the result of the dad switching personality in the middle of driving and not knowing what's going on

The people in that district specifically mentioned he's a kid and shouldn't be here, by saying she's his little sister he probably just ruined her job for her

She mentioned she works so it's probably her job to escort men who pays her and not just her boyfriend
