Eh not really a fan of this other side couples drama, I feel like the main cast love triangle was already messy enough and now the ex has to get thrown in, I'm guessing the author is trying to justify her and setting him up to make up with Andou so when Ninako eventually end up with Ren everyone will have a happy ending with someone having someone, I would've prefer that Andou lost with the feeling that he did tried this time as redemption for last time

Okay after giving Mayuka shit situations after another making her the one who grow wings was the best conclusion she could ever had, the last few pages does show that Ren is partly at fault too, but the way the events turn out still feels like Mayuka is the one at fault while Ren is the victim even though the author is trying their best to show that's not the case

I don't think going out with Andou will deepen his wound at all, it's more like his redemption for not giving an effort to make his ex likes him, because this time he realizes he has to at least give some effort and even if it fails it's the feeling of redemption that he did give effort this time that will heal his wound

Oh god Mayuka is paralleling her parents changing feelings, the dad saying his feelings wasn't a lie meant to justify Ren's changing feelings but I don't think it's quite the same for Ren, he was simply a bad boyfriend for never showing his true self to Mayuka, and tbf Mayuka never honest about her complex of getting left behind because of her parents divorce either, but Ren showing his true self can possibly open up Mayuka to talk about her feelings honestly, I think what the author getting at with Andou's theme of dishonesty is applying it to Ren Mayuka relationship downfall, but Ren not having any issues made it feels like Mayuka is the one to blame for them being dishonest with each other, and even further it made her parents getting divorce at fault like saying people should never do it even if their feelings are changing
