Just so you know I'm not defending the aliens here and all you've said is valid too! But you can't really have empathy for the humans unless you are a little biased (which is normal) even in the real world the ones with power will always have the advantage. To me both side are wrong but the human side were more to blame coz the aliens even though they knew they had the advantage still tried to aim for peace (I'm talking about Dabura, Japaloma, Cross and Maru here), it felt to me that the ONLY Usami was willing to pursue peace actively plus he was the only one with a brain and now that he's out of commission for who knows how long it's about to be tough for sure...
