It's really funny you keep trying to attack my grammar to steer the conversation away when you yourself is absolutely and utterly incapable of proper pronunciation, and three in a row at that from just this one comment of yours. Though I guess that is to be expected since you pulled those words the same way you pulled the first uneducated comment of yours, out of your ass.
And by the way, it's "the attention you desperately want" without the "to" at the end. Now ain't that just delicious irony.

"That display" aka the very same one you failed to point out? The "nonexistent" grammar mistake that I made? So not only is memory failing you, now you even have problem with reading comprehension? Guess the circus is calling, since I heard they need the joke of the town back.

These two kids are hands down the most annoying addition to the story. They just do whatever they damn please, consequences be damned and oftentimes those consequences involve the people around them. But they get away scot-free every time because "they're kids". Kyoichirou also does whatever he pleases, but his actions are usually punished by the other siblings which makes his antics interesting because the world reacts to it, whereas these two dipshits everyone just goes "okay sure" and the world then somehow revolves around their every whim, all previous build-ups thrown out the window.

Look in a mirror and try asking that question again. I'm sure your reflection would say yes in a heartbeat before correcting you on the grammar.

So everything that happened in this story, every bad thing, happened because one single race can't get off their fucking high horse?
This is why we can't have nice things with damn knife-ears.

Couple dozen chapters back she literally streamed and even printed out a bill of superchats she received as contribution to the family's finance. The dad even exclaimed that it's a strange feeling when his daughter makes more than him. Do you even read before pulling claims out of your ass?

Nah, in her case you gotta phrase it like this:
"Princess, because exploration is just like your quest to get a good sleep. Can you really say a bed is the comfiest bed ever without trying every bed there is?"

To each their own. To me Usami is both one-dimensional while also has some of the most bullshit backstory, and that's saying a lot when we have two cases of parricide. Be it Ogata, Tsukishima, Koito or Kouhei, they all have actual drive and motive while also capable of thinking for themselves, Tsurumi only acted as the final catalyst to have them swear allegiance to him. Usami, on the other hand, was a total psychopath ever since he was a kid. When you get even Tsurumi to be flabbergasted then you're just a special kind of fuck up, and unlike all the above who follow Tsurumi because of his machination and scheming, Usami literally and willingly fell into Tsurumi's lap.

Rereading this peak again, I can confidently say Usami is the most boring character amidst this cast of amazing and colorful personalities. While all other characters, especially those of the 7th division, can actually think and have their own motive, Usami's one and only defining trait is that he has a hard on for Tsurumi. That's it. Maybe a fragile fucking ego too, if you wanna count his short-temper whenever someone so much as look at him wrong.

Because the anime is what goes on tv for free, so many more people will have the chance to see it, which also mean there can be children or people who don't deal well with subject of war among the audiences, so they have to tone down the gore and brutality. It's the same with say, Gundam. Zeon from the very first Gundam is literally space fascist, just many times worse. But because the atrocities they committed are usually not the big focus of the series, it gets handwaved. Then came Iron-blooded Orphans with just the first two episode we have Mika double-tapping a guy in cold blood and the show immediately gets some complaints from the parents.

"Sugimoto was a man ahead of his time."
And in 1988, some mad lad actually sang and danced on roller skates.
Sunao ni I LOVE YOU!

And this is why I fucking hate the harem aspect of this manga. The three main girls have literally zero regard for Itami's feeling and saying in the matter, they're straight treating him like a "thing", an object to be put on the scale weighing its worth and now a trophy to be obtained just for the bragging rights rather than for what the trophy is.

Rereading this for the past week, now I remember why I dropped it also around this part back then. The harem aspect of this manga is one that I enjoyed the least. Literally every other side plot like Furata - Tyuule, the red light district crew, the main base and this world's denizen reaction to things from modern Japan is hundred times more interesting than Itami and the cat fights constantly happening around him.
Personally I'm fine with harem, long as it's in moderation and all the girls are actually interesting. Not saying these girls aren't interesting, but I genuinely can't bring myself to root for any of them. Or maybe it's an art style problem.

That asshole has made it very clear about his bias and his hate-boner for the army though. And not like this is the first time a reporter bends the truth to steer a story to his liking, be it fictional or real life, so yes, that is infact very realistic.

8 months late but whatever.

1. They'd need to actually transport the tanks to the capital, an that's like triple if not quadruple the logistics cost of just deploying soldiers. This is why in modern warfare tanks play the role of "support" for infantry instead of the main fighting force. Protection and overwhelming firepower "only" when needed.

2. Unnecessary collateral damage. They're trying to rescue prisoners, driving tank through the prison itself defeats the whole purpose not to mention the risk of debris falling and damaging the tanks themselves.

He can smell magic so yes, he knew someone was there. It's the same as with the Specter shark.

It's an understandable reaction. The expected outcome when conversing with someone like Raika is 1. Disgust 2. Open hostily or 3. Indifferent. Whereas here it's 4. Understanding. Like the saying "takes one to know one", who do you think would be able to understand a kill monger the most? Another one, obviously. Zig understands there can be many ways to live a relatively normal life with one's "desire" because he's from a different culture altogether, but the other elves don't know that and simply assume he and Raika are two peas in a pod.

Well well well, rather rare to see fantasy setting with adventurer that isn't a one-trick pony. So many series have made a character fully lean into their archetype and class that it's a breath of fresh air seeing an archer actually packing something beside just her bow and quiver.
