He's not a chad sure but he's not a simp for wanting to help someone. Her gender doesn't particularly matter and given that he's putting himself at risk doing this regardless of gender would actually put him in chad territory.

The interesting thing here is that I thought that (to some extent) the series would rather strictly adhere to the idea of one better than another, inferior to another, and neutral to the rest similar to the elemental wheel you get from most magic series, meaning water>fire unless the fire is strong enough to overpower water and fire>wood unless wood is strong enough to overcome fire etc etc.

Considering how fast each faction seems to adapt, I think that cycle will be broken many times and eventually merge into randomness by the middle of the series. Like how do you even balance the reasons for each power level per faction? Especially considering all factions bar 1 are somewhat normal humans with their own levels of tech advancement.

Doesn't need to be a mystery series to be good at storytelling?

Yeah, well. It would have to be either someone who's villainy never came to light in the game or an entirely new character never before seen or interacted with.

The introduction, the way they talk, the way they show plans, the way they present is readers with the villain as a whole. It's absolute ass in my opinion and i just hate it.
