I like it ngl. No overly intense thought processes but not cartoonishly stupid. I recommend giving it a go till chapter 5 since that's when you get a proper peak into what's what for this, but honestly the chapters are short enough that you could sample all 31 of them right now and not blink an eye

I fully agree that the trope needs to stop completely though. It's genuinely annoying and off putting and not from a point of "that's what the characters supposed to make you feel" side but rather an annoyance directly related to the author because it's so unrealistic.

However that's not how people express their concerns about that sort of thing. They arrange other places for him to stay, or fit themselves into staying with them as a 3.

From a romance story point of view, both answers get in the way of the romance and is incredibly annoying as it slows down things but they are REALISTIC. I'd much rather either of those answers since they would eventually lead to the FMC to properly talk with her friends about her feelings on this situation to make them understand how it is.
