The only time there's any hint to him being Korean is when the cell phone falls from the sky and there's a panel of a sick guy holding an IV stand.
His entire motivation has been revenge for what happened to Davy before being in a coma, and it never had the "talking to the original body's owner" trope that most of these have at some point during the revenge
