Didn't like this story so much. Never been into it from the beginning. Probably not one of his best work. Still the drawnings, those close-ups, the faces are something out of this world, I don't how he can draw like this.

Manga of my life. When I read it first time, in that exact moment of my life, hit me so hard that I couldn't focus on anything, I was trembling. It scared me to death. It scared me how much I can relate to a character like nakamura. I loved the ending, an immense hymn to life even after all that pain, torment, boredom, fear. I still think that happiness is just a fantasy, but maybe we can find things that make life less scary.

Tragically and brutally real, especially the ending that broke me into tears. So many messages and readings within the story, the most simple is "life is painful, sad, unberable" but still you can find a connection, a reason, a light of hope to keep on going... or not?
