I mean, for a fat dude he's actually rather good looking. Pretty neat and upstanding guy honestly. You can tell he takes care of his physical appearance and has a nice confident smile. He's far from a hottie, but def not a creep. Unless you think all fat guys are creeps ig

Ouff, my goat Kin's thunder...Anyways, glad to see the nurse is back. I wonder if she's working with Nostradamus. Hope that hoverboard idea comes back too.
Lots of fan service lately. Author must've been itching for a while, huh?

"Too feminine"You haven't seen enough tiktok and cosplay femboys. These days a lot of them are more "feminine" than actual women.

Yeah it sounds fucked up right? That's what Aqua is doing. It sounds worse only, because the example makes it much less dubious as to what the dynamics fundamentally are really going on. The author REALLY tries to go out of their way to try and make you not think of it like that, but that is what this is.

Make no mistake. No matter how the author tries to spin it, at it's core. Aqua is and is a 30 year old put into a baby's body. He is a grown man wearing the skin of a kid, dating kids and kissing kids. He is the Dad dating little girls. The manga treated his new body like a body swap from the moment he was an infant and continued to do so. He even acknowledged his own real internal age when his body was a toddler. ONLY when the manga started dipping it's toes into romance with minors did the author start getting wishy-washy about how old is the 30 year old man inside the teenager's body actually is.

Yeah, this manga has lost all it's value as a story to me. Making the Dad the villain was literally the most lame, predictable thing they could've done. I applauded the story for having the Dad character not serve as the typical father figure that disapproves and uses their kids trope that I always see. Actually having bro love and care for them made it so that the story couldn't get past him through force of will or murder and actually meet him on his level or convince him somehow. But nah. He's just a villain. He's just an asshole. He just needs to get beaten up and the story moves on. This sucks man.

Damn bruh Okarun got JACKED. And Airi's stacked as hell too. Or maybe the author just defaults to one cup size fits all, who knows. Either way the fan service was great.

Eh, 20s and 30s is fine. By that point a 20-somethiing year old is well enough into adulthood to decide who they date. They aren't super duper mature, but that doesn't determine who is or isn't an adult in society to begin with. So it is what it is. And fine, let's use body swap as the example instead. The robot is instead. Let's say...your Dad swapped bodies with a little boy. Same soul, same mind, same everything except a different bod. Would you say that your Pops has free reign to date little girls now that he's in that bod?

That right there is what I consider cope. You can't say he's starting again from zero when he's basically the exact same person he used to be. His body is starting from zero, but in every single way possible. Cognitively and spiritually, he's literally the exact same 30 year old man. Reincarnation does not mean a complete mental restart.

If I took your brain and put it into a robot would that now make you zero years old instantly, because the body is freshly made? You wouldn't say "Yeah, totally". So why is it different with the body of a child? That idea of a seperate being doesn't mean much, when it doesn't come off in the narrative in any tangible way. If he acts, talks, thinks, remembers and has the maturity of a 30 year old man with the same soul of that 30 year old man. How is he in any way that matters not a 30 year old man just in a kid's body?

And he could just wait for his 20s and date that age range anyways. But I don't care about that! I care that the author is contradicting what we've seen with the narrative. Aqua is only ever a normal kid when the author wants him to be, but will never substantiate those ideas in any other way in the story save for when he dates minors and two or so other instances. If he just dropped the idea of addressing it it wouldn't be an issue with me.

She's 19 in the current arc. But the romantic developments have been happening since she was 17. And was in a romantic relationship with and kissed Akane when she was 17 too.

So he's still a pedo dude. If he dare Kana now that just makes him a groomer along with that. Though technically he did that with Akane already, so I guess he's already holding both titles.

Yes, but you're making a false equivalency. I'd be a pedo, because I'd be having physical relations with a 14 year old body. Cognitive complications or not. A kid still looks like a kid. It'd be a different story of they were at least old enough to pass as an adult. Then I wouldn't be a pedo.
In the case of Oshi no Ko he's just straight up diddling with kids in both mind and body.

I don't even mind if he's a pedo. I love Mushoku Tensei, my problem is the author is fucking obsessed with trying to make the reader not think Aqua isn't a grown ass man in a kid's body.
Every and all isekai with grown men inside of the body of a child. Doesn't matter to me. I don't care. I care when the author gets butt hurt about the implications and bends over backwards to make it morally okay. When in reality nobody would give a shit if they just never addressed the issue.

Bro. It's not even about anything fucking sexual. Just the fact that there's a romance and he's genuinely considered dating a fucking teenager. Are you blind? Do you not know how to read???
Obviously his first relationship was for buisness, but there on the mangaka very clearly wants the relationships to be a genuine thing. Literally had a chapter where he took Akane and the mangaka went out of his way to have Aqua have an internal monologue about how "I'm just a regular teenage boy with an interest in romance". When he would then back track and have Aqua essentially be back to his full grown man mindset on a whim

Seems like the mangaka has been really into switch games lately. First a TRPG and now Pikimin

You can just smell the cope to try and not paint the MC as a pedo. Even with the factor of memories, a baby shouldn't have had anywhere near the cognitive capabilities granted to Aqua. You can't honestly tell me that not only was it the same soul and the same memories, but that still makes him a different person how??? A person is their memories, but if the soul exists then that would be the actual core of the individual. But bro didn't have one yet lacked the other to grant plausible deniability. Dude had both and yet the author seriously wants to bend over backwards to try and spin it to be anything other than what it was.

Bro was a grown ass man except when the mangaka didn't want him to be. That's it. Aka Akasaka...please never cook another reincarnation story in your life if you don't have the balls to commit to some of the implications. If he just dropped this whole identity arc non-sense it really wouldn't have been a big deal.
