You're not wrong, it's not told but MC is quite literally a mentally insane person. And should he keep going like he is now, he'd definitely go on a bad path. Kinda like Skyrim, destroying every single town and returning to the last checkpoint, mc would be a literal menace to the towers progress

More like they are not allowed to interact with him. The gods can probably see what the dumbass is seeing but can't observe mcs pov. Kinda like in games, we can interact with our character but not with the enemies
