Big Cigarettes = Big Tobacco = five biggest companies, which are: "British American Tobacco," "Japan Tobacco International," "Philip Morris International," "Imperial (Tobacco) Brands," and "China National Tobacco Company."
To me, all five of these companies are monsters in their own right who deserve to be destroyed for terrorizing the entire human race.
Back in 2011, Australia passed a law requiring cigarette boxes to have drab coloring, a picture showing something horrible (like a diseased lung) and a message that says "Smoking kills" on it. This obviously worked and cigarette sales drooooooooopped. Big Tobacco sued Australia in their highest court and they LOST HORRIBLY! GET WRECKED BIG TOBACOO! The judges called their case "delusive," "unreal and synthetic," and "had fatal defects." Big Tobacco had to cover the court costs too!
Upset with this result, Big Tobacco took the entire Australian Government to International Court. A freakin' company was able to sue a literal country over a public health measure through international court. How? PMI moved to Hong Kong to dance around some law from 1993 that states that Australia can't seize Hong Kong-based company property. Yeah... Anyway, they lost that too.
They didn't stop there. Again, these guys are monsters. Sorry if you expected a shorter story, but jeez... Big Tobacco posed as three governments, namely Ukraine, Honduras, and the Dominican Republic filed complaints with the World Trade Organization on Australia. This came to surprise to members of parliament, especially in Ukraine as they have ZERO trade with Australia. ZERO.
Furthermore, he tried. He's contractually obligated to finish this story and that's where we are. It sucks that is what happened because I'm still amused by this story.

Also, I totally got jump-scared with how she was suddenly smoking.
It's a childish bit of daydreaming... but that's just it: daydreaming.
In real life, no one can just simply be bulletproof, explosion-proof, etc to even attempt to be a one man army to take out leaders and their armies.
Meanwhile, look at Mr. Main Character here: he's practically unstoppable. You think an army would present anything more than just some target practice for him? In what way could any of them pose a threat whatsoever? The most dangerous thing they can do is threaten the people he cares about - the people weaker than. Why? Because they can't do anything to him.
So in this situation, if he just starts slaughtering them all, he could very much permanently solve the issue where they could threaten the people he cares for.

If there is a problem with this manhwa, it would be that:
1) There isn't much of an overall plot. It just starts and you get to see the journey of the main character.
2) While it was a spectacle and something new/fresh back around 13 years ago, the whole "Real Life mixing with Video Game logic" isn't anything uncommon at all nowadays.
I will take a moment to say, this manhwa is perhaps one of the originators of the "gamer's mind" passive that pops up in other works - that helps the character's mental state to remain calm and stuff.
On the positive side of things:
1) Some characters have a good amount of depth to them. You won't particularly be able to expect what the author will do with characters - including villains.
2) The journey is long - as you can see, it is over 500 chapters - but it is varied. If there is a consistent element: power gaining. Not just leveling up, but doing feats and stuff.
3) The power level of the main character is pretty nuts. It's also unique in non-combat ways too, which I appreciated.
It is mildly amusing, overall, so... 6/10. Maybe 7/10 on a good day.
Back around a decade ago, it would be around 8/10 I guess.
The interesting thing is that the author isn't one to just make characters, use them and throw them away - villains included. Some villains cannot return, so them aside, you will eventually see them pop back up; after all, players don't permanently die in the game.
You might be thinking "oh great, this villain is going to come back and cause more trouble" and well, you'll be right... just not all the time. Credit to the author for doing that.
Let's see, a few things off the top of my head:
1) Eventually, Grid will make his way to the
2) At one point
Before you ask, no, that doesn't happen towards the end of OG. There's quite a ways to go after that before it finally ends.
The terminology used is most likely "High Ranker."
"High Ranker" is an important terminology in Overgeared as 2 billion people play this game. That's a lot of people. So if I tell you that this person is a "High Ranker" then this person is standing atop all of these 2 billion people, to be in the top 100 or so people. Forget being a "top 1%" -> this is akin to being in the top "0.000001%." It carries significance and weight.
So, it's just an instance where these translators are undermining RainbowTurtle's work/translations -> in favor of their own. Bleh.
That aside, Piaro is here! Let's gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
I am waiting for a certain event featuring Piaro in the far future. No spoilers but it is hype.

Also, a certain plot thread was threatening to extend all the way to the end - which would've been bad -> but it didn't. It finally got resolved so the story can move on to more important things. Goodie.
- The fighting choreography is perhaps the best in all of manhwa.
- - Seriously, if you have an objection, lemme hear it and link me to the manhwa that's superior. I. Want. More!
- - - This manhwa straight up has someone do the Miriki Counter. Early on too; that alone made me wanna continue reading it.
- The art is fantastic.
- Plot is serviceable
- - There are times when you'll go "well, that's convenient" but not in the way you'd expect.
To be more direct,
- - Still, as I said, the plot is serviceable and frankly, you can treat that ^ as "well, the author wanted Mr. Main Character to be the one to resolve it." Fair enough I guess, but blargh.
- Characters are along the lines of "the goodies are good and the baddies are bad."
- - That is to say, not super deep. Funny enough, there are a few characters that are exceptionally deep and I was glad to see them again.
- - - The main true final baddie is pretty bad, but at least there's some ambiguity to him.
- Romance is bad. One character is thrust into the role of "vaguely the female lead" by the sheer virtue of being around the same age of Mr. Main Character.
- - That stupid trope happens; where the girl she sees him with another girl and gets upset with him without a chance to hear any explanation. Like, if they were being lovey dovey, that's one thing, but that obviously doesn't happen - nor does it need to happen for this stupid trope.
Seriously, I wish this trope would cease to exist.
So, 8/10 on a good day. I recommend anyone who likes action sequences to read this because I can't think of anything like it that puts in as much effort to choreograph fights so carefully and so well.
I'm just anti-suicide generally, so I'm not picking a fight with this instance specifically - but all instances as a whole.
I guess you can argue it's easier on his mental health, but I'd argue otherwise. He stood there and watched her take her own life to come with him. In a way, he drove her to suicide and that should also be a massive mental strain. Especially with how he said "I know you would do that."
Sigh...
He better not mess up and end up being unable to revive her,
This might come off as contradictory seeing how she can, all alone, stop the Hour of Judgement stigma from happening. I think that's because Heewon is Uriel's direct incarnation, and Uriel gave her the stigma.
... hmmm.... perhaps...
Thing is, you can make mistakes in some ways. Constellations absolutely don't come off as "perfect" in anyway. Especially when you consider how almost everyone trusted Dokja so far.
Uriel is spamming this wish because she knows this will probably get ignored because it's a meaningless gesture. Or, if it doesn't get ignored, it won't matter as she'll only get a stern talking to. Or or, she isn't in a correct state of mind to think straight and care about any consequences.
... unless she attacks him. Don't do it! D:

The author/artist consistently starts chapters off featuring the characters in random situations. If I have a complaint, it would be how the most popular ones are literally just the beach ones... sigh... man, freakin' weebs coming over to manhua and fishing out the singular piece of fanservice and sticking to it for literal years.
