Yeah, I admit some of the creative liberties were a bit too much like Emperor Xian killing himself on the boat after he gets deposed ?? That's not at all what happened historically ! That's not even in the romanced book ! What ?! Or how they skipped some interesting stories like Kong Rong's entire existence, most of Cao Pi's reign and war campaigns, and of course, killing a few characters off screen...

But I still think they did a good job, the actors especially so, at portraying a more human side to characters we normally see as unstoppable legends; I personally enjoyed it a lot, melodrama withstanding.

Though I gotta agree with one point, you should learn/read the story before watching this show since it's kinda... Not the best place to learn the story from. (Although from where I watched it, the comments had people telling the true events in most episodes, so that was cool too).

Oh man, that reminds me the time where I watched one episode a week of War of The Three Kingdoms (2010), It was so good, I had such a great time.

It's 95 episodes, however. It took me more than a year.
