While it makes sense, it does make it seem like things don't really have stakes when a negative can just get solved near immediately. It's like, I know James Bond is going to win, but if the movie was just him walking into a room and shooting the villain in the head and then leaving it's not exactly satisfying.

Either that or they just aren't particularly good at drawing Distinct body types, like they might make shoulders wider or waist slightly thinner but they don't accentuate body type differences very much either as a choice or a skill limitation, like how for some martial arts series even when they draw the women they look kind of square jawed and rough.
