I think everyone by now kinda figured Lu was short for Lucifer. By that logic, and her form/power, I figured she would have to be an archangel with an elle sound. Only problem with that is they all end with "el". But having them both be Lucifer and Micheal is pretty thematic as they were considered the two most powerful.

I think it has to do with the fact that he was never taught the basics. He was taught more advanced techniques without foundation and had to essentially push his body past its limits to force their completion. Which is evident in him pretty much destroying himself every time he fought seriously. He fights in a crude, self destructive way. So a traditional martial artist would think that is disgusting.
