The first few chapters are weird, but are important.

Mc is a demon, from hell (or what passes for hell in this setting) They also have a system (the weird RPG ones.) They eventually get kicked out into the overworld and start looking for a way back.

Artist(s) change after (a very short) season 1. I think it's a good change.

Where will be their end goal in a world slowly being digested by monsters?
Would that fail the given task? The goal is to survive and save the village. Would the villagers abandoning the village save the village?
Kim chose the safest option here. The village would learn to defend itself, and keep itself stable. If that is not enough, and it fails for some reason, moving the village is still an option.

It's barely cringe, Mc is getting called out on his weirdness. And is kinda realistic.
Sure, I would walk into that dark cave and die horribly, lost, alone, and scared as I somehow get stuck in The Navidson Record hallway after taking the right path for the fourth time in a row.
Any normal person with modern sensibilities is going to see that cave, and then come to the same conclusion that MC did, which is to leave and avoid the demons lurking in the dark.

Mc is from another fantasy world before he was summoned. As opposed to a modern one.
Mc has a lot of female friends that could have totally been a more mixed group of male and female side characters. They are only female because fanservice.
His wife is the only woman he fools with. Best to think of the others as luggage or to be claimed by another.
Someone weaponizes Yuri. (she kills someone with it.)
Nothing explicit, though some parts might get a few stares at a public space.
I have Dead Sea levels of translation error tolerance. I don't think it's terrible. Misgendering does happen though.

Ah, missed this, ever heard of “I'm really not the evil god's lackey”? Scenery wise, it's less overt and in general takes second fiddle to the plot. It does have some gore, and it gets... quite weird. I have also at a few times thought “the tits are in the way of the plot” Less of a Porn novel and more of a good comedy with an artist that is horny.

There's also “The Villainous Noble Loves Mom Heroines Too Much”. It has implied sex at chapter 7. Also has some scenery. Tho is is definitely a trash manga by all standards.

Also "My Divorced Crybaby Neighbour", actually found semi recently. I like it. It's a good romance. With some good scenery.

(going off speculation) That guy was Syala's most loyal knight, turned vampire. The blood stench was probably her feeling something like a demon, but not quite.
It also looks like Duke Vamp is a good liar, and has good foresight, judging from him bringing the high level monster part with him to cover his ass in case he gets pinged by something.

Mc is a spineless doormat and lacks any chaos. And is practically a pile of anime tropes stapled and stitched together.
