see this was better, still not exactly romantic, but leagues better than the princes "you and everything you have is mine". as a person with a great sibling, I can relate to this, at least to some extent. My sibling and I are always compared to each other and always judged when were better or worse than the other at any given subject. it took me years to overcome the inferiority complex this built, and recently talking with them, turns out it was the same for them with the things I excelled in. At the end of the day, just because we're siblings doesn't make us the same or even similar. we're both good at different things neither of us better or worse than the other, it's just that their skillset always seemed more suited to the lifestyle our family led than my own.

damn did that ending feel rushed. as much as I'm glad it didn't drag on forever at least let it keep the same pace until the end. the last 15 chapters felt like a full sprint compared to the light jog of the rest of the series.
