so if I'm understanding you correctly, you're waiting for her to realize the weight of her actions and feel regretful for lashing out the way she has. A fair and agreeable viewpoint. But i feel i must say that you can sympathize with someone without forgiving them. sympathizing means you UNDERSTAND a persons actions, it does not mean that you ACCEPT or FORGIVE them. You can sympathize with a person you hate.

So what I'm understanding from our conversation is that you do sympathize with her, but you don't forgive her. Which is fair, she has committed some severely heinous atrocities to this point. And I agree she needs to face the consequences of those actions.

Dude, she was a child. she never really had the chance to actually grow up. Her mother died at a young age and her father basically ignored her out of grief. Then, she was abducted and tortured for several years until Erzsebet finally rescued her. And after finally having a safe place to rest and live With Erzsebet, she leaves/dies too. This entire time she's been lashing out as a defense mechanism from at least a decade of unresolved trauma. she's angry and jealous of all of the love and care that post regression her got and doesn't understand why she couldn't have the same.

Honestly, I'm glad you don't have any sympathy for her, because that means you've never had to deal with neglect or abuse from your own parents and loved ones. But try to have a little empathy as she's been through more than her share of terrible situations up to this point.

God this feels like and ending, but since there's no [END] in the chapter I'm guessing there still a little more to go. i love this series but hopefully it ends fairly soon, everything's tying up and finishing off so dragging it out from here would be a poor decision on the authors part.
