Am I the only one that thinks killing the journalist was a bit far? Like, I get he's a piece of shit, but the last killings were for a serial killer and mutilator and a serial gang rapist. The crimes are a bit inconsistent.

If you look at that footage, it's clear to see that she's drugged and she didn't give verbal consent, so that video definitely wouldn't pass as proof of consent. Especially because having sex with a drunk person while you're sober counts as rape, even if the victim gave drunk consent. That video definitely wouldn't be in the guy's favour.

This is some of the most on the nose dialogue I've read in recent years, wow.

A collection of tropes and clichés, mashed (hehe) together into a nice and fun read. Although there are a lot of things that were introduced and immediately neglected (the evil eye, 13 master wands, the cross battle demon thing, etc), what we did get was some very well made dumb fun. Also mixed on the way it almost completely throws basically all science out the window. Easy to binge and fun to read. 8/10

People will say "reminds me of Rock Lee" as if it's not literally copy pasted from that fight. Even Domina's powers are similar to Gaara's. This story is just a collection of tropes and clichés, and while I really enjoy reading it, it's not original in the slightest.

Wanna come here and explain why I like Reika, despite her actions and so many people hating her.


She was hated at first because she made dumb decisions. But just see this story from her perspective. Nobody tells her anything about anything. Her boyfriend suddenly disappears and at the same time her parents start acting very strange. How could anyone blame her for being suspicious when Kyoichi told her that her parents were hiding something? Sure she made dumb decisions, but she didn't know anything about the situation.

To add to that, she meets 6 guys that are "interested" in her. One was a street kid that suddenly disappeared without a trace, one was a Yakuza hired to get close to her, one turned out to be a cult member with the mission of bringing her back to the village, one was only interested in her dad, and one was her stalker (which was a plot made by her parents, but she didn't know that). Almost none of the people she meets are helpful for her and those who are don't tell her anything about anything.

Then after that, in the village, she helps out a lot by escaping all in her own, yet people still complain about the way she did it. I saw a comment complaining that she held up a guard to kick someone, even though holding up a guard is literally martial arts 101 and everyone who is a little bit trained does that. Everyone just kept hating her because she wasn't omniscient in the first 70 chapters and that made everything she did afterwards "stupid".

She also got blamed when she couldn't fight off a man that was literally trying to rape her, which is a whole new level of messed up. They tried to justify it by saying that Goichiro is an old man, but as if any one of y'all can consistently push back an old large man that's literally laying on top of you. I get that y'all hated her, but the comment section that chapter was the literal definition of victim blaming.

In the third part, I must admit, she was a bit of a cockblock, but her father wasn't innocent in the slightest either. She's a police officer and Tetsuo had countless crimes, some that were completely unnecessary. She had every right to want to arrest him.

She's a well written character that was completely justified in the vast majority of her choices. Reading the stupid hate comments about her almost made me drop the series.

Again, I also must admit, that was pretty stupid of Reika. Still, don't think her early actions justified so much hate.

Y'all are acting like Tetsuo is innocent. He committed so many crimes, some of which were completely unnecessary. Reika knows that he saved her, and she thanked him for it so many times, that doesn't make him not a criminal. She is completely justified in having to arrest him.

I've been on her side the entire time, but even I have to admit: this was kind of an ass move tbf

She suspects him of planning multiple terrorist attacks, she knows he committed second degree murder that would never be classified as self defence, now she also knows he committed first degree murder as well as several crimes surrounding the investigation, like concealing evidence, lying to the police, and possible kidnapping. To add to that, she knows for a fact that his previous actions of crime has completely messed him up inside and that adding to those bottled up feelings will likely make things worse. It doesn't matter that he is the main character, it doesn't matter that he's her dad and it doesn't matter that he did it all to protect her. Tetsuo committed countless crimes and Reika, as a police officer, is completely justified in wanting to arrest him.

Wait, so Kubo has been dead for a year now?

Is Ozawa trying to free aim a moving target with a hostage while using one hand? Maybe he's not so smart as I thought.
