I do get what the other guy's coming from. In novels you can write an accent or language quirk without having to actually write it into the dialogue. But with manga, you constantly have to read written accents. It's annoying to have to readjust the way you see words just because the translators thought it necessary to write down every time a character has a lisp for example. It's funny the first two times, after that it becomes a nuisance.

But for filler words, yeah, that's just a him problem.

He is a criminal, she is a cop. I don't get why people twist it so much when it's that simple. A lot of what he did was to save his family, but he also committed several crimes that were completely unnecessary. I don't get how everyone can fully excuse the father when, like I said, his entire conflict is about how much of a criminal he became.

I get that Reika is annoying, she also annoyed me in this part and I'm pretty sure I'm the only Reika defender. But she is also not really in the wrong.

If I had a dollar every time a character looks sadly into the distance and says some vague shit about their apparently tragic past, I could've already bought this entire manga physically.
