Edit: literally the next chapter. Shout-out to good manga for closing plot holes.
Let's start with the world building... There is so much unnecessary stuff added just for immersion. There's a whole chapter dedicated to a chicken, selling her eggs. Absolutely nobody, not a single soul in the perceivable universe, would ever ask about the dress code of turtles, but it's added, just because. Great world building. 10/10
The characters. I can only name a few series where I can confidently say that I like every single character, with the exception of a few that I feel nothing towards. Even Riz, early Bill and Melon, are all so interesting and I just want to spend more time getting to know them. There are several characters that just appear in a single chapter, explain their lives, their struggles and their goals, just for world building and immersion, and they're all lovely, and I just wish I could spend more time with them. I must say that Gouhin and Juno were a bit sidelines after a while and I question their state as a main character, but then again, what else was there to do with them? Melon's father is the only character that I feel nothing towards, but entire rest of the cast is just perfect. I know a lot of people don't like Haru, but I genuinely don't get why. I think she confidently redeemed herself from being a whore and I think her and Legosi's story are almost perfect. 10/10
The story. This is one of the only series where the theme and the main questions actually got me thinking. Especially at two points. When Tao accidentally ripped off Kibi's arm, and when that lion accidentally bit his girlfriend. I looked at those points and I was just thinking about them for a long while. Who should I feel worse for? How much should we excuse carnivores for uncontrollable behaviour? How much should we excuse an herbivore's hatred for carnivores because of said behaviour? How can there be a balance between morals and instinctual, bodily needs? It's very very interesting, imo. And that's not even including the romance, which I think is flawlessly intertwined with the main themes. 10/10
This manga came out of nowhere to me and I held it off for the longest time. But I'm really glad that I started this and finished it. It has easily become one of my favourite manga of all time. 10/10.

Also, I don't know what's with the Hari hate in these comments. She overcame her whore lifestyle, so why do people still hate her so much?
And there's a whale involved somewhere in the middle.
