This is a very interesting manga. I think it's simultaneously tragic and adorable. While I might be talking out of my ass here, this manga has raised a question in me that I never really thought of. How do you respond to severe codependency coming from someone who genuinely can't take care of themselves? I don't think that's the exact theme this manga is going for, but it's what I was thinking about while reading so far. I'm not in the mental health and mental disorder space (though, I probably should be), so I don't know.

This manga was definitely meant to be binged, rather than read on release. I had a blast, even with all the flashbacks and stalling.

Also, I love how they didn't make it so "Kaiju stop appearing" like they do is so many manga. I always hate that trope, because it's always a waste of a power system. Like when the Demons disappear at the end of KNY, it's just disappointing. But I quite enjoyed this ending. Even if it did drag a little. It's still nowhere near as bad as JJK's ending.

With all due respect: doesn't Mina get HEAVILY carried by her weapons? Like all the other big defence members use close range or mixed weapons that require a heavy amount of skill and mastery. Meanwhile, we've only seen Mina snipe others with her big ass gun and now this. Like, I know that the suit's force makes things easier and that the force of attacks and guns is dependant on the user's strength, but other than that, I feel like anyone could do what Mina does, given the right equipment. Unless I'm missing something (I might be missing something), I don't think we've heard what makes Mina so special.
