I just had my first approach and I thought that will be 50% of risk if failed understanding as a fail all those 5 tries, if every approach is just 20-30% of chance of level up and 35-40% of level down...

No, man, I actually made little research, after I realised that only REAL weapon that suits definition of blade (but not sword for you) is iconic saracen sword type, yes, SWORD, literally everywhere it's desribed as a sword, never blade ^^'

Dude, blade is just part of the sword (technically you have blades everywhere, like in shavers or grasscutters) and it's asian fantasy thing to call all those ridiculous swords (starting from Zabuza's sword) blades.
So, yeah, all of them are swords, calling them blades is just funny asian-fiction thing.
Only proper blade, that is clearly not sword, as I remember is second form of Zangetsu ^^'
