Since the sea king is now a plant he should be able to absorb its abilities, it should have copied his own and integrated it with its other abilities, which should be a major boost. I think the Absolute Evolution is the really important part though. If he gets that ability then he'll be able to integrate other species abilities and it will help him avoid detection. He should also be able to use it to break into 4th order at least by absorbing its spiritual power and possibly its body as well. After that I think he'll recombine with his main body for the final fight with this world's tree.

It's not like they're dying, they just get locked up for a while. Aside from that, they're going to a kitchen full of food, their goal definitely isn't just to feed that guy, they'll also want to stock up.

There isn't one so it would be better to stop looking. This is currently behind the raws though, so you can use a translation or mtl that's further ahead.

So there are 3 more dragons to meet. Maybe he'll finally learn how to use these scales, and whatever else he gets, after befriending all 4. Though I'm not sure if any of them will have any knowledge on that since they mainly sleep and have no reason to process their own scales.
