I'm gonna be completely honest the novel itself already wasn't much. This manhwa makes it so hard to understand, you literally wouldn't understand the story without already having read the novel. The pacing is pretty fast in a bad way. Like, instead of compressing multiple novel chapters into a single chapter, it literally just skips some of them.

It skips some of the most important fights and just shrugs over the most eventful part of the story(which is Eugene discovering his origins).

If you've read the novel and just want a recap, this is decent enough I guess. I don't say this even about the worst slop of stories, but just skip reading this tbh. It's not that the story is that bad, it's just that you wouldn't understand anything at all. This manhwa is just that badly paced.

The pacing is quite fast. The novel was already not that long, at this rate I doubt this would reach 200 chapters total. Which could be good or bad depending on how you see it.

Yes, there is a novel. Basically his brother is currently split into two. His consciousness and soul. The brother's consciousness is stuck in the watch, he will find out that that is the case pretty soon. I think it's before or after crafting Kynee? Somewhere along that part. His brother is already technically alive with just his consciousness, but to be fully revived they would still need his soul. Which is waaaay farther into the story(basically almost end game). That about sums it up.

That's about one per month with one month off so it's not really that surprising for a manga that's non-shonen
