I'm kind of frustrated how everyone says this without understanding that if these were there before season 1, the entire timelines, concepts, logic and reasoning would be thrown out the window.....
season 0 is "usually" either a test/prototype/first release with season 1 being the main beginning. Season 0 is for filling in plot holes and explaining concepts and giving some side stories to create a background, if the series started at season 0, I guarantee you wouldn't be here at this chapter right now
