I've never really liked the whole nobles look down on commoners trope. Like dude what the fuck do you think ur ancestors were? Nobles are people who are given titles by their king, usually from wars n shit but mostly to handle the lands they were given. it just doesn't make sense for them to have such a visceral dislike from commoners for being supposedly "lesser" than a noble. the only difference between one another is their responsibility and duty given to them by their ruler.
