the thing with manhua is that they are mostly written by people who arent that good at writing. they are above average but compared to alot of other writers of manhwas and manga's they are dogshit. so if you are a dogshit writer but you wanna follow your passion and make money you gotta write within your skill level, that means that almost everyone in a martial arts manhua will have asshole behaviour, so that they can engage in conflict and the main characters can slowly become better and be viewed in a positive light by the viewers. in their minds "there is nothing better than cheering the good guy beating the assholes/evil guys up" this is what we call kindergarden writing. not all of them obviously like this. but alot of it boils down to authors/writers not being skilled enough to write an engagement between 2 characters without debasing one. which this manhua unfortunately falls a victim to aswell. maybe not as bad as some of the others. but oh well what can we do

exactly this, i am always ready to throw my hat in the ring to see if a manhua is worth reading. i have read hunderds of manhua and only liked like 20-25 at most. i have tried to read at least 1000 manhua for like the first 10 chapters before calling it quits. i always tell my honest thoughts and opinions when it comes to reviews and what i see from alot of the people on this manhua is hate because they dont like reasons that they are eating spoons full of when it comes to manhwa's. i dont like that.

if you gonna be critical about something at the very least do the duediligence of reading first 10 chapters. give the story a shot before you decide to label it as something it isnt. they call this manhua "disastrous" or "bottom tier trash". when they havent even seen 1% of the trash that i have read. if they had they would realise that this isnt even that bad. infact this is like one of the better manhua that there is. its the creap of the crop or best of the best. but its entertaining, has cool panels, has cool characters, delivers a decent story and keeps my attention. which is more than i can say about some manhwa that some claim to be the second coming of jesus christ.

anways my rant is over. this manhua is good, read it have fun, enjoy yourself. the beginning is kinda rough but it improves very quickly.

like i said it gets better over time. yes its not peak fiction and yes it is not the best manhua or best necromancer. but it still delivers a somewhat decently enjoyable story. although it had a shitty start it got better. as it did it captured me through effort. i cant say that about alot of the other manhua who have 100s of chapters with millions of fans who are shit on chapter1 and who are still shit at ch600.

also you havent seen true bottom tier trash if you thought this was that bad. but thats just imo.

well there is beauty in simplicity, yes although the mc doesnt talk much, he doesnt have a strong personality and some of the side characters are manhua shits. what he does deliver he does it well, he was a silent person before his awakening and he is silent person after that is a nice thing to see, (him not becoming an asshole because of power). over used power? well you have fair point there but if we wanna be honest with ourselves for 0.05 seconds. which powers nowadays isnt overused and cliché? like anything that you can come up with has already been tought of by comicbook artists, mangaka,s manhwaga's and manhuaga's, light novel writers and science fiction& fantasy writers have all tought of everything already that there is. that doesnt mean that you cant use a power that you like. we can tell that the author of this story like necromancy and other fantasy game aspects and wanted to give his own twist to it. it is honestly not tha bad. although it isnt very original but it doesnt need to be in order to tell a story. example: you can hear how a modernday soldier in afganistan saved his dying comrade by carrying him on his back for miles to safety so that he could be saved. 10 times and each of them will have their own twists and their own experiences and you'd find different things about their stories. i view stories like that. although the contents may be similair. but what they tell are very different stories.

actually i disagree, i usually read manhua's to see if they are worthy. mostly drop them within 10 chapters. this one is one of the few rare ones that are actually good. although in the beginning the translation is shit, the story does feel rushed indeed but the art is pretty good, as the story develops it gets more and more enjoyable and drags you in and before you know it ur already at chapter 40. the translation got better over time too.

so i would say this is an easy 9/10 manhua compared to other manhua.
