The problem is that we jump too much perspectives and there is too much going on at the same time.
It is the plague of wixia writers that bombard named Characters and factions that are hard to keep track without a spreadsheet, I like intrigue and verbal fighting but this is too much, we have 14 important characters currently involved in the main plot yet after 64 chapters the story is barely developed beyond "Revenge on Dark" and "New BBEG is real". We are shown political moves but barely any consequences, the places are just names droped to give artificial importance on a character we barely know and is actually developed. The only thing carring this is the Stellar art and decent character like Artius, Lana, Prince Arias that actually have some character and are likable
