One of the things I cannot stand about LN to Manga stories is usually the "author" is lazy as hell. They cut out IMPORTANT information and there's inconsistency, ambiguity, or what looks like lazy ass plot armor.
But worst is LN to anime. Overlord comes to mind. There was the entire early arc about that other kingdom and they suddenly made S5 or S6 (I forget) cover that arc when it was really like S1.5 timeframe.
