Also, I find it hard to believe that this "Hero of the South" could actually see the future. Most things he said could be explained by mere coincidence, guesses, wishes and of course he might have met Himmel on his way to the village, saying he was looking for a long-lived mage to help slay the demon king. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be a bad guy in contract with the demon. He might have met the demon with "foresight" beforehand who told him the future.

Now we know why the MC's father had a green light in his eyes. He is being manipulated by the spell of "Gold" to serve the Prince. In fact, the whole kingdom and all the people are slaves to the same spell it seems.

Remember how it all started going wrong after what she said when she saw the second prince for the first time at the ball?

She said: "I suddenly feel parched" (Parched = extremely thirsty)

"I'm thirsty" also happens to be the first thing the God Lady said before she promised three wishes to the 1st Kartazen. This is the point where she doomed herself to eternal servitude.

She can't. Her promise with the headmaster ties her to the school, remember?

Until: A - she graduates, B - she is expelled, C - something warrants an early leave. (I don't know what this entails.)

However, she should just graduate as early as possible and then run to the edge of the world, in my opinion.

I scrolled for a scary long time to find a comment with positive views on the new art.
People always like to hate on change for some reason.
HOWEVER, coming from an artist myself, I agree.
This new art is a LOT better, with proper proportions and better lighting.

Was about to post a whole review, but I'll keep it short.

This is a decent read with a lot of potential (read all chapters in 3 days).
The story is nothing crazy with few original elements.
The flow is sometimes a little off with the translation on some chapters making it almost unreadable, but characters like Wilhelm (who is by far the best of this series) brings some very emotional and interesting stuff to the table which keeps my faith in this series alive.
I too, hope this survives because both the story and art has improved drastically since chapter 1.

Wilhelm is by far the best character in this series. Shin is too perfect, same goes for Schnee. I wish all the characters had the same depth and care as Wilhelm.

So all the people who were crying in that cage, were just left to die? Oh yeah, they were just filler...

This chapter had the worst translation I've ever seen in any manga period.

I know for a fact that they didn't use google-translate because that shit would have been a lot better, WTF.

This was awful to read, so I'm glad the art keeps getting better.

If I were the priest, I would go through a whole list of things to ensure the saint couldn't even think of betraying me. Like, the fact that she was able to order her men to find Wilhelm to go get the beast girl is because the orders she has relieved had a loophole.

However, now it's already too late for the wicked priest. I hope his gruesome deeds and carelessness puts him through immense agony, resulting in a pitiful death.

I see, so "Bitch" was not allowed, a small workaround and it became "Bidgee" hahaha

Definitely the best chapter yet. I was about to give up on this story, but this development will create some interesting world and character dynamics.

Not only that, but the way he talks about stuff being hard to learn, like he did shit for what he can do. The only work this guy did for his OP abilities is playing a computer game. Compared to that, I have much more respect for all the other characters.

Makima can see the future, right? She is hella manipulative, right? She knew when Denji was going to cry, so she forced herself to shed tears to make him fall deeper in love. Something like that?
Don't answer my questions, since I've got a pretty bad feeling that Makima is terrifying. I'll figure before too long.

It's strictly forbidden to lie during a confession, however Chako had her veil off when she said, she would take MC to Tokyo. Foreshadowing? I hope not.
