Marvel Endgame's theory exists to to sell their story. Dragon Ball did a similar thing with Trunks creating a new timeline by going back in time to change the future... so he didn't change his future!
That was both dark and pointless.

This MC either constantly creates new timelines... or he resets the only one there is. Since the former doesn't work for this story (imagine 1,000+ timelines/stories without the MC because he got killed by the lunging mook in the first battle), I'd argue that the latter is the only answer that makes sense.
Also, I doubt God would've imbued him with such a talent if it had no real impact on the world, and I'm sure this story will eventually hint at a higher force in play to change some really evil whit from taking over the world or something.

And... it was nowhere near as good as any of them. Not even close. In fact, I got bored during only the 9th chapter - and they're short chapters - and dumped this.

Well, this sounds cute.

A total mess of storytelling, I dropped this shortly into the 2nd chapter, when I just couldn't be inspired to even try.

I did espy that the said chapter ended in an interesting way... but there are way too many other titles out there for me to waste time on this.

Edit: if someone manages to finish this and announces that the confusing to the point being almost nonsensical narrative does a 180, and this story improves unrecognisably because of it, I may try again... but I doubt that'll ever happen.
