Hit and miss short stories, but I liked the last two quite a bit.

Yep, all "K" and "J" Male "idols" look faggy... and likely would cry if punched too.

Disappointing.

This is 4 short stories with the chapter 0 (why is called that?) and 1 being the same story. The next 2 are about side characters from the main series, with the last being a very short and pretty bad stand-alone.
Had this whole thing been about the brother and the otaku who has a crush on him, it most probably would've been a lot better. Then again, the next story about the model (Mimi-chan) was very relatable and could give a lot of people a good life lesson!

Overall though, this was disappointing because it could've been so much better and we all know it!

I'm really surprised there aren't any comments here. I'll read this now and leave a review.

I've just seen on mangaupdates(.com) that this is complete at 296 chapters, so I doubt my rating will change.

The translators begging for cash was annoying but I'm sure someone will finish the job just for other fans (if K could get the raws, I'd be tempted to Google translate from the Korean, fix the grammar and toss it out there just so we all get an ending... but I'm pretty sure I already know what happens in the last 5 chapters anyway).

How did they manage to f*ck this up?

For the first 100 or so chapters, this is amazing! It was easily up there with my favourites... but then MC went off on "side quests" which bored me to tears, the story lost all momentum, then it tried to get all Game of Thronesy, there was a war - which wasn't as bad as everyone made out - but it did take a lot away from what this comic was about: a martial artist who believes he's weak and just wants to raise his children in peace, slowly discovering the he, and they, are actually all very, very strong.

The final arc was also kind of crap (I won't ruin it), and the whole thing really should've ended already, so I'm hoping it soon gets wrapped up and doesn't drag out much longer, taking its rating down even more with it.

I've read 291 chapters, for those curious.
If you do decide to read this, you may want to drop it after the fight with the metal demon god (see: bad-arwe homicidal maniac), so thet it'll stay forever grand in your memories.

Aha. I caught up... and I thought this would have ended by now. Is a fight with the Administrator the last thing to wrap up in this story?To be honest, it feels pointless.

If I wasn't reading this for free on a pirate site, I'd not have read it at all.
The translators do a service of getting the creators new fans - so future works may be more likely to be printed and sold in English - but asking for money is a piss take!

Because I had the advantage of reading from the 1st chapter to now without having to wait, all story events are fresh in my mind, so I can answer this for you:

Papa MC (he sounds like a rapper) always had an inferiority complex because he thought that all Murim fighters were miles above him, when the reality was that he got disciplined by 2 of the world's mightiest warriors (Administrator & Noya, who became Julian's master in, Red Storm).
Having reached this ultimate form, MC wants to know if he should still fear others - i.e. is Admin dude still miles above. MC knows the calculating Administrator won't agree to a pointless spar inwhich he has nothing to gain, so tempts him by saying that Admin dude has only this one chance to test himself against "God's Vessel" in a friendly contest, rather than a fight to the death, should MC ever go demonic/mad like all before him.

Admin sees the logic in this, but doubts his own abilities, so he plans to spy on MC to determine his level and if they're equal or one could beat the other - Admin has said in the past that he never enters a battle he cannot win!
Admin gets out of the fight by saying he trusts MC to never turn evil or hurt civilians, but really, he plans to survey MC's power before he'll decide.

I won't rate this because I wasn't in the mood to read it and I got fed up having to zoom in all the time to read the tiny text.

That said, - and partly for the latter reason - I doubt I'll ever come back to give it another chance... it just didn't capture me, seemed a bit silly and I didn't like the MC.

Lol. It's not harder to draw armour than ordinary clothing - you're probably just used no-detail sketches in Korean webtoons, that over-rely on colour to look even remotely good.
