In short: having to wait a week for no real story development sucks arse.

And, nope, not hers.
The story's still very enjoyable though (and maybe now we'll get to see Yue Ling in action?).
I get that he didn't need to shop without her, but the only threat is a Monarch... which he can't yet handle anyway, this meaning that, if he's attacked, it's better that she's not there.

Mainly though, typing in the comments is awful, but occasionally the pages do lag.

I just don't get the foot thing.

That panel really reminded me of that scanlator group meme.
Edit: The source is from, Hive (definitely recommended).
She seems a lot older; I'll the imminent tsundere and see what the 3rd one's like (
Read it for the action.
Let's be clear so you all know what you'll be getting into: the plotting of this story takes place during the fight scenes... and almost the entire comic is a fight scene.
Now that you have an idea whether or not this is your cup of tea, I'll point out a few things:
• No confusing action sequences here! Ghost King boasts some of the best, most fluid battle choreography I've seen in a webtoon (if not any comic).
• Some characters get built up... and essentially disappear.
• 3 "waifus", if you want to cheer on a certain "ship". Note though: this isn't a harem (there's too much fighting to even begin to explore romance).
• Romance is hinted at and, just as we think it'll happen, it takes a back seat to yet more action.
• Solid artwork throughout (plus, the girls are all gorgeous).
• You'll likely not give too much of a crap about any character.
• Good world-building and a lot of potential, but let down by pretty weak plotting and pacing that opts for a full-on adrenaline rush, rather than proven storytelling.
So, where I'd recommend this to fans of the genre, I also get how not all martial arts/murim and action readers would like it. But I did.

There's a pink and red for this reason.
It was a pretty fun read but hardly a classic; I'd recommend it to genres fans though.
