Damn. I’m feeling old now. I’m as old as some of these guys playing.
Anyway, during the next football season I’m gonna try out for a junior team since the only experience I’ve got was high school interschool sports for 2 years, and then playing soccer at lunch. Interschool was super strict rules wise, at lunch it was house rules (slide tackles, “accidentally” kicking ankles, slight pushing). One did this crazy headbutt when the goalie kicked the ball almost straight up 10 or so meters.

I had long hair, like it was down past my shoulder, halfway down my back. Was too much, so got an undercut and a chop, now it’s only to my neck. Been told I look like a samurai, like a Viking. Both are cool, both accepted. It’s way less maintenance, I can wet it in the shower and not be damp for the next 12 hours and I don’t have to brush it every hour
