Yeah, ppl who only blamed the fmc just simple-minded. She just came to mc because she really was desperate. The fact that she suddenly came back looking for mc after 17 years shows that she really doesn't have anywhere else to go. She already raised her daughter by her own for 17 years, so that's means she never have any problem that need others ppl help before.She also did her best to move out as soon as possible but mc the one who held her back from doing so.

In my opinion, mc the one who are a some kind of loser here since he still wouldn't move on from her after 17 years. Now, he's the one who kept making advanced to her and trying to slowly get her back, even if he doesn't realise it.
