Goatmaru is letrally a idoit from the mountians. we never se him say he wants to be the best striker. He's essntially in the same boat as Niko realizing they are better suited or can excell elsewhere.

He also has golem creation for distraction and offense and telekinesis

Only positive is that the skeleton art looks cool and I like their random class assignment

I thought it was just me having necromancer fatigue but that’s not it. This feels both lazy and rushed. I get MCs being stronger/luckier than most but this is absurd. Starting skills that permanently increase stats by 5 TIMES and given a skill that does direct health damage no matter the targets defenses and defeating both monsters and other hunters that are double your level??? There’s power fantasy and then there’s just lazily buffing to prevent conflict. And I leterally mean no conflict. He didn’t start weak and grow. He didn’t get a useless skill and use it cleverly.

To beat them I feel like Hiyori and Ness are going to have to both set up great passes for Isagi and Kaiser. Crazy idea wat if Igaguri causes Chevalier to get a yellow/red card
