Believable went out the window when the author made MCs brain an infinite wealth of knowledge. The guy somehow remembers everything from his old world, from every detail of chemistry to how politics works.

Did you forget they have jails? Or that they can fly around? The time crunch is fake anyways. They are always like oh no the demons are coming soon. Let's take a few weeks or months to do some random thing that marginally increases our power.

I think all the things in the story are lawful evil, neutral evil, or chaotic evil. The only exception is maybe the slime, which was pure neutral.

The quality of discussions usually depends on which type of story you read/watch. In my experience Shounen, action, or generally more edgy stories usually have the more vocal of those type of people. They don't or can't say why they disagree with you, so they simply downvote, or when they do comment its usually just toxic. I see it less often in other types of stories.

People just want an echo chamber. When someone critisizes something they like, they don't know how to respond except by down voting or aggressively attacking them. I don't think it's about trolling most of the time, it's just people not being able to logically explain their view point.
