Nevermind, let the betrayal commence~ And the cycle continue. Mans gotta amend the cultivation method with a warning against that one when he goes back to the sect. GAHAHAHA Poor wamen. If only he hadn't set up such a trap~
Her feelings are genuine but she also knows what will happen to him. Her cultivation is brainwashing her into this situation. There was no scenario where they would both be unscathed because the creator wove hatred into jt.
She'd be so offended she would recall this memory and start to cough blood, and after this event she'd experience a Qi Deviation for sure! If she's truly as wicked as our MC deduced anyway, if not and she actually likes him then I might feel bad .
Sad thing is, he might've gotten it wrong. Sure, that's he history of their sect, but were that her true intentions? She did decide to show him her true self. That much is certain.
MissBadEndI think that's just OG!Weiss's sadism at play here (the MC noted he wanted to crush everyone, not just Allen). It likely could have been anyone and he'd of still gone overboard. There's also the chance that while being suppressed by the new soul/personality that OG!Weiss was still aware/awake while MC was doing his training/prep and recalled the storyline, and therefore comes to know about Allen and the game, forming a grudge through that and then bursting out afterwards by chance. Within The Villainess and this one OI manga I read (dad dies and gets reincarnated as the villainess's father, who's an absolute scumbag and actually took back over the body in the recent arc) had something similar happen
User-5490966132Really enjoying the break away from the Demonic Sect, excited for S3. Though I do think it's kind of cheap that we keep using the death/capture of his squad mates as reccuring motivation. Already have horrificly bad vibes about what the author is cooking up for Soryeong ffs.
User-5490966132I mean that's kind of the direction the story has to go though? His goal changed very early on from "just survive" to "I want to become strong enough to destroy the system". The only way for him to do that is to become super OP and to start being more tactful in his approach to death. We had a mini-arc where he comes to terms with the idea that he needs to sacrifice the idea of death, for the long-term goal.
Ignoring that this a shounen-murim-manhwa, meaning having an OP MC was always the end scenario. Not saying I don't understand why you don't like it or disagree at all, but the manhwa was always going to go like this.
