TauCetiThese adults are kind of dumb but I get their position. They have no power, which presumably they actually should have some. Also of they go with violence, it is by far the worst move they could make. They don't know the power base of this world, they don't know the world at all. they can't assume MC is the most powerful. Secondly, if the prince or even the girl realize they will die anyways, they may not part ways with the secrets to summoning or return spell if such a thing exist.
i didn't like how some of these teachers want to use MC's power for their own gain, which is understandable, but MC is still a kid and respects his elders so he might feel obligated. luckily he has already demonstrated that if you take him for granted or try to use him, he will bring down the hammer.
The teachers needing to use force is a very natural thing, but they are driven by the need to go back into civilization, and that will turn out to be deadly. they might even betray MC later on.
