So iirc from my norse mythology, he lost his eye drinking from mimir's well, as he had to offer tribute / sacrifice so pulled it out and lobbed it in, and was, like, the first time he put himself into bodily danger in his pursuit of knowledge. That and hanging himself for nine days to learn norn rune magic are the standouts in my mind.

I watch AnimeOnly fight we see the #1 America Ranker in and he is getting bodied. Having half the chapter hype him up with few sentences long backstory doesn't help at all.
