Seikimatsu Tantei Kurabu is dedicated to the very gay and very passionate love of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. I suppose that it could even be called a doujinshi, since it's blatantly based on Conan Doyle's work, and many of his characters make appearances throughout the story. In fact, the main story is split into three sub-stories -- each one focusing on a different aspect of the Holmes/Watson relationship.

The first story is titled Paris Fin de Siècle, and is a light-hearted introduction to our protagonists. There's a little fluff, a little humor, a sardonic reunion with Arsène Lupin, and a sexually charged scene of boot-licking. (Actual boot-licking. Not the metaphorical kind!) There are also fabulous kisses, cross-dressing criminals and unusual confessions. No smut so far, though. That comes later on. Oh, yes.

The last two stories are based on actual Conan Doyle plots. The second story is based on and named after The Adventure of the Three Garridebs, and the third is similarly inspired by A Scandal in Bohemia. It's wonderful to see Conan Doyle re-interpreted through a yaoi mangaka's eyes! It's particularly rewarding to see Holmes undergo a paradigm shift after Watson is shot in The Three Garridebs; Holmes realizes that he can't take the good doctor for granted anymore, and that his old friend has become so much more than a friend to him.

Follow the story of Tatsurou Shinozaki, a priest and private investigator who works to solve strange mysteries involving mystical influence. One day a woman comes to his church looking for the mysterious red penguin. She uses a post-hypnotic suggestion on him so that when the phrase "red penguin" is mentioned, he begins to hallucinate. As the journey to uncover the red penguin begins, secrets are uncovered about Tatsurou's past, including a shadowy society that may be linked to his suddenly unreliable memory.

Yuri is a 20-year-old male prostitute. Half of the money he makes goes to paying the huge debt that his father left when he died. His one goal in life is to find his younger brother Nagi, who disappeared after the same car accident that killed Yuri's father and mother. Suddenly a boy turns up, claiming to be the lost Nagi. Can Yuri's long search be at an end? Does Nagi have anything to do with one of Yuri's former clients being murdered?

Takeda is diagnosed with cancer and feels that he has nothing to live for. His wife had died of cancer and his only daughter has been missing for fourteen years.

One day, when he is about to attempt suicide, the phone rings. It’s the police, and they inform him that the dead body of his long lost daughter has been found, that it appears to have been a homicide. New boy Natsume Hiro comes to a boarding school unlike any other school in existence to solve/resolve something that happened in his past- but even that fact takes a while to emerge.
The school is a hotbed of bullying and rape kept slightly in check by a feudal organization called the Salon. The Salon protects its members from random abuse by specifying who can/must rape whom (yeah, there are must rapes here) under what circumstances, and punishing those who rape/abuse without proper permission. All this to be decided at the whim of the Salon head.
Sex at the school is both an overwhelming obsession, as befits an all-male society where there are no other outlets for stress, and a matter of down-and-dirty power politics, not unlike an American jail.
When you throw in the Byzantine institution of the Salon, you have a scenario reminiscent of the surrealistic, closed, hothouse world of British boys' schools. But the Rika world is even more bizarre than that.


This work has been left unfinished because the mangaka began to work on a non-bl title, called "Kousoku Angel Engine".

A sudden increase in odd killings. A world close to an end gives rise to an unprecedented master detective!!!

The story follows the motivated detective Asano Misaki & her slacker partner Hijirihara Takumi. They work in the Special Crime Investigation agency (SCI), which is in charge of cases judged abnormal or bizarre.


Note: In the middle of chapter 3, it was revealed that Killer Killer is an official side story of the Danganronpa series, taking place after Ultra Despair Girls - Danganronpa: Another Episode and before Super Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Academy.
