if marin is cosplaying just for the sake of it she would be posing like a teenager showing off her costume or just acting sexy. part of the reason why the crowd was soo big and even the author approved of it was because both costume and marin's acting truly embodied haniel. try to read the previous chapter and tell me if the vibes is the same when marin was "in the zone" vs when the photogroup session was over.
i get why you said it was underwhelming. but it is underwhelming coz youre just too focused on gojo's costume and not seeing the whole picture. if i was fixated on gojo's costume only, i would say the same thing as you. but in this series marin is also an artist with her own craft in acting the character just like gojo with his costume. both never underestimated the original chara and tried their best to portray the cosplay as close as possible. man if you never acknowledge marin's dedication in acting the part from the early chapter, youre missing something.
