Eh, this is honestly really good setup for season 3 since it's leaving so many unresolved plot points, hopefully they don't take 3 years to update therefore making this entire manhwa completely forgotten

Overall very solid season, I really liked this one, although I will probably go and read the novel (which means I will not come back to read the manhwa because I just don't like reading a story of which I already know the flow of) I will probably recommend this to a couple of friends, it has good comedy in a lot of parts, like with the elf for example, while still having very serious and tense moments.
Overall a good 8.6/10 or a 6.7/7.6

I can totally see that happening honestly, but I feel like it's too soon for that to happen, I expected it's going to happen after he returns to the estate and the emperor declares war, since he's basically the Frontline of the kingdom he's going to ask for some time to power up and make it more entertaining

I mean, he eliminated 2 future problems at once with the duel, but it's weird that the emperor let go that easily
