For us in real life, sure. For Lefiya, Filvis is no longer elf. She's akin to those who had killed her fellow adventurers, an evilus. Maybe also the green slime, by the looks of those faces on her skin. I dunno if you'd wanna accept or forgive that, or even understand it.

That said, this series is more serious than that Bell's story. I like it.

The only outsider capable of accepting her and thinks she's not wrong as a person, still couldn't accept her knowing what she is.
And Lefiya is starting to trust dungeon monsters, too, but somehow Filvis is something beyond that in form.

Why not her dad? With him gone her house could actually be a safe haven for her from all those ghosts.

I actually like this twist of event. It's been too easy mode with his busted skill. And its his skill that's busted and not himself, so this progression is fair and should be predictable -- otherwise Qubi would have done it to the dark elf.
Now the matter with Qubi is hopefully written well, and not a my-hands-are-tied excuse.
