This manga, is good.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good story with great art, a convincing world building and the absolute love of the autor for the sport, and i mean it, the author loves the lore, the technical aspects, the romancce of the game, the author loves baseball with passion and it shows in the story.

The Mc is very likable, honest and dense, super smart in he's game, and really emphatic with the world it was isekaied, and yes it covers the isekaied Mc cliches, but in a good way, the world around him has sense on itself and the nonsensical parts are actually mentionated by several characters, so the autor it's aware of he's own faults.

The art is beautiful, great tricks allow you to enjoy movement on an static media, really great expressions, and yes fanservice in the same style you get fanservice from a tv game, not bad at all.

So what's the problem then? Well the problem is that the story imitates the game way too realistic, if you are not a hardcore baseball fan and you have actually go to a baseball game in an stadium, you realize that, its a very boring sport, usually a game starts great big offensive, big plays the first 3 or 4 innings, then starts dragging, and dragging, and dragging, and if you are not drunk or bring a something to make the game more dinamic (i have seen people bringing tv's and radios to the stadium to hear the commentors and try to not get bored, and that was decades before smartphones), untill the last 2 innings, that is when the game get interesting again.

And that's the problem with this manga, started great, very dinamic, very into the conflict presenting interesting characters, giving the readers 3 or 4 really interesting arcs, but once we get the team togheter, started dragging, and dragging, and dragging, and that's the point we are now, in the middle of the game, just dragging, i asume or more like i hope that the last arc is gonna be amazing and fun, but sadly, i don't have the patience to wait untill that happens, i guess many people will be able to wait, and i will not be surprised if this manga is picked for an anime, certanly will be unique, but right now, for me, is time to change the channel and see what else is on, but if you guys want to keep watching, well enjoy.

No, I blame recent USA enterteinment industry for making Japanese, and mostly all the world crave for bombastic crap, mainly Michael Bay, Disney and the Fast and the furious.
And don't get me wrong i can understand why people like bombastic garbage, but that does not make it good.

Yeah i should not blame the country that spent so much money and human work into forcing they products into the culture of every country in the world that has less power than them, in order to sell them even more garbage products, and don't get me wrong i can respect an smart evil plan that actually works, but i can't respect hipocrisy.

pretty much normal for rich people and politicians to use talented people as they dance monkeys, heck in mexico narcos kidnap artists to force them to perform in their kids parties, so it's a tradition rich and powerful people keep since middle ages, or much before that.

So this was Axed, i guess Japan teens have really been infected by USA idiocy and now only want idiotic things like Michael bay movies and Fast and boring movie style stories, because nobody can tell me that the eminence on the shadows is a good story, or even some sort of smart mokery of the genre, it's just bombastic stupidity, so sad.

Love how the artis draw faces, so expresive, add tons of feelling to the story

it's nice to see an MC that is not super OP and actually have to face the fear of death and use it's brain to solve problems

The hero is not gonna stop training, seems more like it's gonna start he's training travel earlier, and if something, whitout the Edgelord garbage, will be able to interact better with many people, learn more and become a better hero, heck it might be able to find companions that before where disgusted by him being an edgelord, and on top of all that, the Hero is gonna see the MC and she can guide him to the right training with Quests, so a bad ending even when it always been a posibility, don't seem to have increased it's odds.

ah yes, the classic when you made the world better whitout triying and whitout even noticed, happens more than people realize or admit.

So, is the MC finally learning how to control Harold? o mean he let him go out to play last battle so maybe is starting to tame the Dark Beast.
