Great anime: interesting fights, story twists (even I didn't see coming) and small love story. Also completed.

I also think destroying the core is the smartest move they have. Even if someone were to consume it, they need time to refine it. I'm guessing one of the Saber cult guys, if not even the boss sneaked in to get the core so he can be as powerful as mc. It's a nice change of pace: bad guy trying to become as strong as the mc🤣
