"To be continued" ... when?

I really liked this manga, and just finished rereading it.
There's a lot of moral grandstanding in the comments.
The point of mc being reincarnated is to show that modern morality would crumble when placed in the past.
People dislike the killing of non combatants and raping + slavery of enemy women, but that's what happened in that time period and even still today. Also the mc does struggle with the his ideals being slowly broken, until he gives up and chooses to prioritize survival and flourishing of his own tribe, even at the expense of his enemies. Even tossing aside his past identity to better do so.

The point of this manga isn't to satisfy modern sensibilities. It's to show what would happen if a modern person were dropped into this time period. Which is that they'd conform.

I enjoyed the start. My enjoyment slowly declined as the later chapters became increasingly abstract and obtuse.

Killing a sick slave isn't meaningless. She could infect others and she'd be consuming resources while doing so.
