There’s no way you read this chapter and thought the MC was struggling with this guy whatsoever lmao.
1. He’s not going all out or using his strongest techniques because he doesn’t want the cave to collapse and crush him, plus lose the essence.
2. He’s literally deep in thought during the whole fight and analysing the opponent as well as trying to gauge him a little for his own amusement, as the chapter clearly shows.
3. As you saw with your own eyes mc has already stated dealing wirh him before the chapter got to the halfway mark, I’m not trying to insult you or your reading comprehension but you’re objectively wrong if you think that after reading these chapters that this guy is portrayed at someone on mc level. It makes sense that absorbing the essence made him decently stronger as he’s a high ranking bad guy lol.
because it’s the first time we really get to see things fully from the Demon God’s perspective. In pretty much every other Murim manhwa, the “Demonic Sect leader” is automatically framed as the villain, the mysterious monster who crushes the strongest orthodox masters, has “strange powers,” and is basically treated like a final villain regardless of what he’s done.
But here, the Demon God is the MC, and we’ve watched his entire journey: the betrayals, the assassination attempts, the hypocrisy of the Murim Alliance, and how the Heavenly Demonic Cult never actually went around slaughtering innocents. Yet because they’re the “demonic sect,” everyone paints them as evil.
To the Murim world, his nano abilities look like sorcery, but we as readers know it’s literally just insane sci-fi tech pushing his martial arts to crazy levels.
And what makes it even cooler is reading this reminded me of the Return of the Mount Hua Sect. In the opening chapters of that, the Martial Alliance is fighting their Demon God, who’s also using “mysterious powers” and being treated as the ultimate evil.
But here in Nano Machine, we’re finally seeing how that “demonic monster” label looks from the inside.
It’s such a sick dichotomy, and idk why it itched my brain to finally realise it reading this chapter but man!
Or maybe they are the same level. But his powers seem to be more powerful than hers at the minute, he’s able to cross dimensions with his paradox abilities I don’t think she can but I could be wrong. But yeah really cool how martial arts can let them reach the realms of gods
This created a 2nd revision meaning most likely he succeeded somehow after reading the 1st revision. It was given to him as soon as the author or whatever saw how the book would change due to KDJ. Which makes sense I mean the book should not be going the same at all due to him.
Before you tell me she can’t, she pops up whenever heroes are fighting each other. That wouldn’t be possible if she didn’t have some form of limited omniscience for her lobby.
Ironic lmaooo. But seriously he should have thought about it a little more. Why would mc go and fight him without something up his sleeve?
