I think... A lot of mangakas were trying to imitate how Oda does huge battles.
But honestly, I don't think they should. Oda has a very particular way of writing that works with the chaos of war.

Hell, until this arc (the war) began I was absolutely a fan of the series; but trying to make everything big and terrible while focusing on everything... I lost interest so fast I almost dropped it!

The art is great, but... the battle just kinda went for so long and became rather tedious... so I am not that invested in it.
