I think... A lot of mangakas were trying to imitate how Oda does huge battles.
But honestly, I don't think they should. Oda has a very particular way of writing that works with the chaos of war.

Hell, until this arc (the war) began I was absolutely a fan of the series; but trying to make everything big and terrible while focusing on everything... I lost interest so fast I almost dropped it!

The art is great, but... the battle just kinda went for so long and became rather tedious... so I am not that invested in it.

I reckon he will show off he has a massive mana pool.
The helmet... I think it could've been something more fun than that.  A bit... tropey, huh.

What I like about Chris is... he didn't live an unfulfilled life and went back to start living.
No, he actually, despite his shortcomings, made a lot of contacts and learned a lot in order to survive.

Honestly, after the moment he found out the truth of his past... the MC has become better and better~
